Description

Gear-driven rotating sprinklers just like the ones contractors install. Only you don't have to trench the lawn or pay for buried plumbing. They stay safely buried in place until needed. You can mow right over them. Just snap your hose on to the swiveling quick-connect and water pressure pushes the riser up 5 inches above the ground. A powerful stream throws water 17 to 40 feet at 2.5 gallons per minute. You set the rotation from 40-360 degrees. Both settings are right on top and easy to make while the unit is on or off. When you turn off the water, the riser drops back below ground where it stays ready till next time. All it takes is a garden trowel to dig a 4 inch hole, 9 inches deep. That's it: plant them, point them, set them, forget them. No assembly required. Plant them right next to drives or sidewalks, in flower bedsanywhere, really. Corners are good spots. Most front lawns can be watered with just two, each in an opposite corner. The back yard will probably take 3. For smaller areas to water, you'll need the Quick-Snap Spray which is not included in this kit. The swiveling hose connect makes it easy to snap on the hose from any direction. Instructions are included and they are very simple. These are industrial strength sprinklers that will give years of faithful service. Depending on your water pressure, you can string two them off the same hose line using the Y-connectors which are included; you can even add a timer at the faucet. These units can be removed and taken with you to the new house when you move. Worried about winter freeze damage in your area? You may want to order a Quick-Snap Air Purge. It blows out the water with an ordinary bicycle pump. Each sprinkler comes with its own hose quick-connect and a bright orange cap to help find the unit when the grass grows long, lush and green.

5 out of 5 stars great system, great price

I have had my quick snap sprinklers in ground for 2 months now. I installed them with timers, and 1/2" poly tubing buried about 1 inch deep which I will remove and put away before the cold weather hits (just hate dragging hoses around our large yard). They work great. I had a little trouble adjusting the length of the spray (couldn't see where to put key to adjust) but got an email answer to my question within an hour from the company. Great customer service. I also purchased the gizmo to expel the water from the head at the end of watering season to prevent freezing. THis is a well thought out product, easy to install and adjust. Even when I add in the cost of the poly tubing and the timers this system is so inexpensive compared to traditional in ground systems. I highly recommend Quick-Snap.

5 out of 5 stars Still working great for me!

I purchased the set of five sprinklers back on May of 2010. There was a bit of a learning curve while installing them, but I attribute that to the lack of experience of the installer (me). After the first two, however, I felt like a pro! I needed all five in my front yard, which is fairly large and has a lot of trees, etc. The most difficult part was definitely digging around some very stubborn oak roots. They worked well that first summer, and I learned several things:1. When using the y-connectors, sometimes you have to shut off the water flow to one of the sprinklers. I found that shorter hoses were fine when supplying water to two sprinklers at the same time, but longer hoses didn't seem to build enough pressure to pop up the sprinkler heads simultaneously. This resulted in either one rising and the other one spitting water uselessly around the still-buried sprinkler head, or neither one rising and both spitting mud puddles. Easily fixed by simply turning off the water to one auxiliary hose and switching it every day or so. The sprinklers all turn on for preset times starting at around 4 am, and two to three run per day, depending on the lawn's need.2. Don't set them up during the day, connect them to a timer, and forget about them. I noticed that my water pressure varies, not only at different times of the day, but also at different times during the season. Keep an eye on them every once in awhile, to avoid wasting water that isn't landing where you'd intended, and to make sure your sprinklers are still supplying adequate coverage. Maybe attaching flow regulators at the spigot would alleviate this problem, but I've found that it's not that difficult to monitor by checking every couple of weeks or so.3.Read more ›

4 out of 5 stars Very Nice

I am very glad that I was able to find these. I would like the coming accessory of the connecting hose. That would make them almost 100%. They work well, deliver an effective stream and greg coverage. I would recommend them to anyone with a large space to water and hate (like I do) moving the sprinkler every 30 min or so.

5 out of 5 stars Love these little gadgets!

Have always hated moving the sprinkler and adjusting the spray angle each time, yada, yada, so finally bought a set of these to try. Liked how they worked so much, ended up buying a second set of 5, and now my whole yard is green! As to the complaints about leaking, etc., before installing them, I applied pipe tape to all places on each head that could be disconnected, which I also did to an in-ground system at another house ... seems common sense. No leaking! In short, for me they work as advertised. I have not tried running more than one head at a time, but do have a timer on at the faucet. So I just click the hose on the head, turn on the timer, and a big section of my yard gets watered with minimal effort from me, and no expense of an in-ground system. And I like that I can move the heads easily if I decide to landscape differently. My neighbor was so impressed when she saw mine, she bought a set of five for their yard! And is equally pleased...

4 out of 5 stars Quick Snap Sprinklers

I recently have purchased the Quicksnap Sprinkler system and it works pretty well. I did have a problem with the attachment breaking, but I called and they sent me 5 new model attachments that have worked great. It is somewhat of a hassle moving the hose around, but being that all of the sprinklers are already in place, you don't have to mess with moving the sprinklers, not to mention the ease of snapping it in and out of the sprinklers without having to screw that hose on. Unless you have a couple different outside spigots, you'll probably only be able to use 1, maybe 2 sprinklers at one time. If you're wanting to water your lawn once or twice a week because your grass needs it, but you also want to save a few dollars in the process... I feel this system is the one for you. No, I'm not an employee, nor do I know any of them. I am a real customer living in Terre Haute, Indiana. And I'm happy with the product.

These sprinkler are great. My husband and I installed 5 of them around our yard in less than an hour. Now all we do is bring the hose to the quick snap sprinkler, snap them together and the sprinkler head pops up immediatley to water our lawn. I love these sprinklers and we saved a lot of money using these sprinklers instead of installing a sprinkler system.
