I just installed this product on my Tippman A5. And I have to say, it looks amazing! Its contruction is solid and the hardware is simple. The installation is kind of a pain in the rear as you must seperate the 3 pieces of the steel body and have to remove the front sight and rear sight knob and your factory forgrip on your A5. And I think if you have an expansion chamber(I don't)it wont allow for easy installation however the bottom piece of the body can be left off allowing you to keep it and room for your forgrip. I came to a hard truth when I reliezed it DOES NOT WORK WITH THE FLATLINE! but I resolved the issue. The only other gripe would be that the picatinny rails are poorly manufactured and arnt perfectly flush with the body. But all in all its a great addition. It adds a bit of weight to your marker but also adds great accessary options and one hell of an intimidation factor!

Tippmann M249A5

I purchased this as I've always had a love for Light Machine Guns, and Machine Guns in general. My friends, and I use to play a lot of Scenario games. We always used the M4/M16, and some AK bodies on our Tippmanns. I wanted to be that guy you didnt want to see on the field. So I picked up the pieces I needed for a M249, and I was a show stopper. I wasn't tagging every one on the field, but I always got the "I want him on my team". Based on looks a lone. Now the construction of this Shroud is nice. It is full metal, and will take a beating. I've dropped it so many times I can't remember. The one gripe I have with it is the screws. Replace the screws to the body. They've stripped on me after taking the body off once. I then replaced the screws with some sturdier screws, and I've had no problems. My recommendation is to stay with a CAR Stock to cut on weight, and length. This boy does get heavy. Get a hose for your air supply. Add a pinnochio hopper. The rails seems to be a very sturdy plastic, and they do hold up well. I haven't put any tacticool accessories on, but they've been hitting rocks, pebbles, dirt, grime, slime, trees, etc.. They haven't even cracked. I hope this reviews helps.

great! the only problem is it tends to rub on the barrel on the left side. other then that this body is more for an mk48 then an m249B. but all in all great buy very tough, and can take a beating.

looks great - pain to install

like the look and feel once installed, but only giving 3 stars because it really was a pain to get onto my Tippmann A5. The Allen wrench provided in the package was of no use at all considering it didn't fit any of the screws for the shroud!If you have the time and patience to get this together, it is worth the effort, but the lack of instructions / tools definitely made it a challenge.

SAW shroud

I like it, it makes it look really cool if your into the heavy gunner look. Its sturdy made and it goes on really smoothly.
