Make Paintball Splats On Cakes

Just like paintball splatters are random, yours don't need to be perfect.

You have permission to throw food. Splats for any paintball cake require tossing icing to produce the random form of spatters from being hit with a paintball. These shapes help make your cake seem like it had been assaulted with a paintball gun. The paintball splats are necessary a minimum of 2 days in advance to permit the shapes to harden before wearing the wedding cake. Neon food coloring, obtainable in grocery stores and cooking stores, gives these splats their exclusively vibrant coloring, resembling the colors employed for paintballs. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. Whisk together one egg whitened and 1 cup of powdered sugar with neon food coloring to achieve a thick paste from the preferred color.

2. Line a baking pan with wax paper.

3. Scoop up a spoonful from the colored icing having a teaspoon.

4. Fling the icing to the wax paper to create a splat shape. Repeat tossing the icing to the wax paper to help make the paintball splats.

5. Leave the splats at 70 degrees, uncovered for you to 2 days or until hardened.

6. Peel the shapes from the wax paper for putting to the cake.
