Make A Battering Ram From Cardboard

Use card board to help make your own battering ram.


The battering ram goes completely to ancient greek language and Roman cultures. It's just huge pole accustomed to break lower doorways and obstacles. Early battering rams comprised of the felled tree trunk which was transported by many people troops and thrown manually. Today, police force utilizes a metal two-person version to break lower doorways at the appropriate interval. You may make a battering ram from card board for prop or model use. You just need a couple of common products to create one out of whatever style you select.


Instructions


Card board Frame


1. Cut several squares of card board to put together together.


2. Take each card board square, roll it right into a cylinder and staple the finishes together. Then staple the cylinders together finish-to-finish to produce the preferred length.


3. Use wadded newspaper or scraps of card board to fill the tube. This stands for your battering ram and keeps it from bending easily.


4. Cut one more compact square of card board. This more compact square can make the mind of your battering ram. Use whitened glue to connect it towards the finish from the tube.

5. Mix equal areas of whitened glue and water to create your paste.


6. Cut strips of newspaper which are roughly 1 " wide and 6 inches lengthy.


7. Dip the strips to your paste mixture and stick these to the battering ram, such as the mind. Do four or five layers of strips and allow the paste dry completely.


8. Use acrylic, tempura or spray fresh paint, with respect to the look you're going for. When the fresh paint dries, your battering ram is prepared.
